As of Sept. 16, 2012, we have been doing a work exchange on a farm located outside of Athens, GA. The farm is situated on more than 300 acres with over 200 animals. The animals include: bison, water buffaloes, cows of many species, llamas, alapacas, ostriches, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys, pigs, emus, chickens, rabbits, peacocks, ducks, a goose, guineas, and a dog named Buddy!
Maintain food and water supply for all animals.
~distribute supplemental feed, keep water fresh, gather plants for rabbits and pigs
General up keep of the farm's appearance.
~ removal of trash, fallen trees and deceased animals; maintain grass and shrubs around front gate and driveway; weekly cleaning of rabbit hutch.
We are thoroughly enjoying ourselves!
The boys have gained confidence and have lost fears. Their thirst for learning and problem solving has eased our transition into homeschooling. We have learned to use our common sense more than what "the book says." Above all, we are grateful to witness the scriptures come alive right before our eyes. :)

Hey FAA friends!
Swift Family will be heading out into the great unknown on an extended road adventure! We hope to visit and explore some great places, learn new things, share life stories and lend a hand whenever we can. Then share our stories through words and photographs :)
Do you know of a great town or place we should add to our list? Are you or someone you know able to assist us with a place to stay? INBOX ME! let's chat!!
