As of Sept. 16, 2012, we have been doing a work exchange on a farm located outside of Athens, GA. The farm is situated on more than 300 acres with over 200 animals. The animals include: bison, water buffaloes, cows of many species, llamas, alapacas, ostriches, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys, pigs, emus, chickens, rabbits, peacocks, ducks, a goose, guineas, and a dog named Buddy!

Duties include:
Maintain food and water supply for all animals.
~distribute supplemental feed, keep water fresh, gather plants for rabbits and pigs

General up keep of the farm's appearance.
~ removal of trash, fallen trees and deceased animals; maintain grass and shrubs around front gate and driveway; weekly cleaning of rabbit hutch.

We are thoroughly enjoying ourselves!
The boys have gained confidence and have lost fears. Their thirst for learning and problem solving has eased our transition into homeschooling. We have learned to use our common sense more than what "the book says." Above all, we are grateful to witness the scriptures come alive right before our eyes. :)
